I think getting a correct TD5 switch is the way to go if you want to switch it from the cab. However, it makes it complex with that switch. As I said you could get a Heated Seat switch and swap the covers or just get an old Defender interior light switch like this.. Land Rover Defender...

Thats a non latching switch so not straight forward. If you want the switch front to look like a Light swich you could buy a Puma heated seat and swap the fronts over

Not really, not easy even though it looks like it should be. Switches foul where you want to be.

As in Fuel costs for haulage needs to be less.

Fuel is too cheap, too many cars, lots of wasted miles. Haulage it needs to be less Private man it needs to be more ( we won't like it but unless habits change it will keep going up )
