Tried all the usual methods to get it out of 'Park'....it's all the other faults that will need looking at - not sure if Lynx diagnostics will be up to it.

I found what you've mentioned on Youtube. I'm hoping to use that to move the car. I'm thinking it's the BCM that's throwing the other faults.

Did you replace the Spigot bush? Check tightness of propshafts, is handbrake adjustment too tight? Have the coolant pipe tabs been trapped between block & bell housing>?

Should you make it across to Mortain 50140, I can pressure test the coolant system. I'm with JM on it being a water pump, but it would be good to confirm before the French garagistes have your pants down. Did you pack the KY with the warning triangle, bulbs, yellow vest etc...as per the update...

Thanks for all the info on the chassis. I managed to have a look under a Spanish registered 90 in the Leclerc car park. He had a top quality steering damper which I swapped with mine and left a note on his windscreen saying 'Viva Catalonia! '. That'll go down well!

That was my main concern in the steering could fit on either chassis leg. I think the fuel tank & exhaust mounts are the same, I,ll check it out as soon as I see a LHD, Thanks for your help.

With the Series the front will be different for the steering relay is all I can think of. I'm hoping that you're right in that the Defender will be for both to save on tooling and production runs. I'll scramble under a LHD and check if the steering box mounting holes are there both sides, thanks...

Thanks for your interest, it is the original speedo and dash so I'm not worried about any variations in distance. I'm thinking that leaving the battery off for a while, then connecting to see if that helps. I'll try and get Lynx to talk to the BCU. If there's any luck and success, I'll put it on...
