The price I had from the transmission specialist is the entire job, they take the box out do whatever needs doing and refit box, so tbh I don’t think it’s to bad ,

Tbh roean in Telford have a very good reputation, used them for parts quite a lot but they’re very busy, the transmission specialist I found have quoted £490 including oils

That’s the problem having nowhere to work, I trained as an agricultural engineer years ago so not really phased by doing the job, just limited room and being new to land rovers , anyway spoke to a transmission specialist and they’ve have agreed to take on the job, he knew all about it straight...
