    Thankyou for your quick replies. The only reason I was considering these bulbs is because I visited a friend in aus who had these ones in his land cruiser and they're very good for using off road and hunting etc. I was thinking similar uses in the uk for my D1 not to look 'cool' but just to help...

    Im thinking about putting some 10000k 35w HID light bulbs in a discovery1. Does anyone know if their will be any problems with this? And are HID lights all road legal in the uk?
