    Alloy wheel advice

Anyone who disagrees with you must be ignorant then. 22" wheels on a a P38 is hardly the same thing as a whale tale fitted to a 20 year old 1.4 Astra. A bit of a presumtious statement there claiming any one who has a car which is not modified to your taste, is obviously from a poor or...

    Alloy wheel advice

Have you driven on on 22"? It is certainly not as nice as on 18" with a big profile tyre, but I would hardly say destroyed.

Im sure plenty on here will agree with you, but I think they look fantastic with 22's. Ready for the abuse about being a pimp, drug dealer and chav etc. Although I will point out now that I am none of these things. But yes mine does have 22's. To each his own Barry

Opinions please - 'engine repair' products

Ill try and bring this back on topic. I used K Seal about 8 months or so ago on a friends MG ZR (head gasket) and it is still holding today. I tried it last month on my P38 Diesel (cracked head) and it didnt work (reduced smoking slightly on tickover) My advice would be to give K Seal a go...

    Syncmate/Faultmate Keycode Lockout

Hi. I am looking for some information, advice or help. I added this request to my other thread regarding inlet manifolds but to no avail. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/p38-inlet-manifolds-160912.html Are there any Scottish (central belt) members with a faultmate or syncmate tool, as the...

    replacement diesel engine for P38

As mentioned, its much cheaper and easier to find an engine from a 325/525 TDS or 2.5 TDS Omega. Just make sure that it has an M51 engine code. I just paid £350 delivered for one from a 98 325 TDS with 98000 miles and a 90 day warranty. The cheapest I found one for the P38 was £850, which is...

    P38 Inlet Manifolds

To be honest with you gentlemen, I couldnt really care less about possible proposed changes to M.O.T's and the laws surrounding them at the moment. Can anyone actually answer the questions I have asked about using the plastic manifold with EGR blanking kit fitted. Will it work and is there...

    P38 Inlet Manifolds

It came out a 97 325tds. I need to swap inlet manifold, exhaust manifold/turbo, sump, oil pump, pulleys and the infamous FIP top. Thats what I can remember off the top of my head. Barry

    P38 Inlet Manifolds

Well I hope it will be ok as I have just bought a plastic manifold and EGR blanking kit. I was hoping to get a concrete answer from a knowledgeable member, but I couldnt afford to wait any longer with ordering the parts, as they wouldnt have been dispatched until Monday if I did. With the way...

    P38 Inlet Manifolds

So im all good to go ahead and buy the inlet manifold and just block off the EGR using a 2pence piece. Anything else I will have to buy/use to make the plastic manifold/EGR work in my car? Thanks Barry
