hi guys, thanks but the 1.8 only has 1 ht coil and dizzy cap? do you mean the ht coil could be intermittently breaking down? cheers barks

hi all, yet again another fault, last month was the water pump so it had a new pump, thermostat and good flush through. all fine since... untill yesterday, it wouldnt start? it normalls starts straight away. eventually after trying 4 or 5 times it did. she got about 10 miles and it lost power...

thats what i thought but just found a new pump for £14 water rises if caps off, ive tried every other combination, fast idle top bleed 2 turns open ect thanks guys, barks

thanks for reply, it was warm, had started and driven 3 miles, dosent seam to be loosing water now, could be sucking in air though? if you let it idle for 20 mins the temp sits half way as it should it just rises when driven? its as though the pupms pumping only a small amount so idle is ok but...
