My 1987 90 with LT77 gearbox is playing up. 1 week ago clutch was fine then all of a sudden the clutch goes almost to the floor before disengaging, checked fluid, it was fine and I can't see any leaks. Anyone got any ideas ?

When you say you fitted it in the door are you talking about a rear windscreen wiper ?
-
Standard heavy duty rear springs should do fine and a lot cheaper than the terrafirma ones !!!

Why don't you try Frank Pickles, my 1987 200tdi 90 station wagon costs £147 fully comp Motorhome Insurance | Camper Van Insurance | Kit Car Insurance | UK

Why not go for a set of these :- land rover defender 90 rock sliders tree sliders on eBay (end time 14-Feb-11 17:07:02 GMT)

They will fit and will look great, I have 238x85x16 with black modulars on my ex army 90 (there are no clearance issues)

Could be that the speedo cable is starting to break up and is catching somewhere on the outer cable. I had this happen on a series that I used to have, just pull out the cable and check its condition.

Well you should by now have the snow that you where looking for. Enjoy.

Im running 235 x 85 x 16 they are Enduro Runway A/T they do not look at all aggressive (no side lugs) but I have discovered they are very good in th snow, the tread seems to clear itself very well in deep snow and not clog up like other tyers Ive had.

Read some off the newer threads about non starting, funny but they all are 300 tdi's.
-
Yes I do intend to give it several coats of waxoil and definately in the problem areas that you mentioned. Thanks.

My 200 tdi needs no preheat, just jump in turn the key and away I go no matter how low the temperature drops. I would have thought that your 300 tdi would have been the same. Maybe the problem lies elsewhere.

Lifting a Landy might make it look good with a more aggressive stance for offroad but remember all the body weight is now being carried 2" higher as you will find out when you hit your first first corner at speed on the road.
