    Based on my experience with them, I would avoid Varta. Yuasa or Hankook are better. I believe that he HANKOOK MF31-1000 fits just about.

    MF31-1000 fit's my TD6 but some have had issues with the battery disconnect module, I believe there are 2 types.

    Low battery voltage can still turn the engine over but not be high enough to power the ECU's. What voltage is on the battery in the morning without the smart charger?
