    Hi Garage confirmed new VCU and balanced (at this point they explained "they where a Land Rover specialist ".... it would appear that due to VCU issue,there has been uneven tyre wear that is causing the vibration ? Could this be correct ? Thanks

    Hi, Checked and it has got the damper fitted. Bearings, VCU and damper all looking shiny new ? Checked tyre wear and all APPEARS ok with level wear across all 4. From history received with car, the last recorded time I can see that all 4 tyres were repalced was 2011, so could this be a tyre...

    Will check tomoz when its light. If it hasn't, does it need one? Would it come as part of the kit? If it hasn't got one, would this cause the vibration?

    Hi, following last thread had a new VCU fitted and picked car up today. Checked there was actually new parts under car and had a drive including reverse with full lock..... felt great. On drive home found at low speeds (up to about 40mph) no probe, but over this, there appears to be a vibration...

    Thanks. Will get a brake check done first, as brake problems have been an issue before according to service history, then if not will probably be this VCU thingy ma bob... told you I was hopeless. Thanks again, gotta go, but will be back on tomoz.:eek:
