Need some tyres myself. Can't decide between Pirelli Scorpian STR and General Grabber UHP.
Both seem to be a reasonable price at blackcircles at the moment.

Hi,
What's a fuel pressure sensor bypass kit.

Quick update.
The mirror from the 2001 Freelander fitted my 2004 fine. Electrics are the same.

Pull fuse 5 in the engine compartment. That will disable it. Mine is definitely fuse 5, had it disabled all summer as it would always fire up regardless of temp. 2004 td4 hse.

Quick question before I buy the wrong one.
My nearside powerfold wing mirror is knackered. Lots of noise but little movement. I've seen a breakers ad for powerfold wing mirrors from a 2001 Freelander.
Mine is a 2004 post facelift model. Are the mirrors the same?
Some ads I've seen say...

So it would hopefully mean no messing about removing the stereo.

It's a 2004 td4.
Everything seems ok at the moment. Will dig out the handbook and check.

Hi,
My fuel burning heater is still coming on each time the engine is cold. Think the temp sensor has had it.
To disable the fbh I've taken out fuse 5.
This has stopped the fbh coming on.
Is it safe to just leave out the fuse over the summer, or does fuse 5 control other things?
Thanks.

Hi,
Thinking about getting some new wheels for my 04 freelander.
The 17" wheels on at the moment have 225/55/17 tyres.
I've seen some 17" wheels from a freelander 2 for sale with tyres 235/65/17.
Would I just be able to stick these on or is it more complicated than that.
Thanks.

Same thing just happened to me on the way to work.
Pedal popped up but actual clutch operation seems ok.
Any ideas anyone.

The problem was the head unit was broken. It was under warranty so it was fixed for free. Only problem was they installed a faulty head unit. Took over a week of them testing everything else before they realised it was the head unit again.
Not sure if this helps you, but if you have warranty...

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the info. Just to confirm, its at the base you need to put the bits of metal in, not at the side.

Thanks, I'll give it a go in the morning. I was under the impression the dash had to come off to remove the stereo. Can it be done easily enough without dash removal.
