Problem sorted now folks, turned out to be faulty throttle control sensor. Had me scratching my head for a while and it also turned out to be the cause TC and Hill decent intermittent lights coming on. Dont ask me how but ive tested it numerouse times and it proves to be the problem every time...

Hiya folks, I've got a 2005 freelander petrol with problems! Intermittently it will rev to around 2000 rpm then suddenly drop to about 1200 rpm? If i recycle key it will rev normally for a little while but then do it again! There are no lights on the dash regarding this problem but i am also...
