    I had a TD5 10P engine (A 2001 110) that had to be replaced and ended up with a TD5 15P engine. Had to replace the injectors when I first got it. At low speeds it jerks and won't drive on tick over. I called an engine remap firm t but 'apparently' the older 10P ECU's can't be done. Have now...

    Time to update my profile. It is a defender. Did it totally blow the radio or is there an extra fuse somewhere? The radio 5 amp fuse is ok

    I was fitting a roof console, took the interior light out. Project not yet finished but now the radio doesn't work, the clock doesn't work and the trip meter doesn't retain the memory. Have checked all the internal fuses, have I missed one?

    Sorry, didn't realise there was a difference, I was told they were the same. Any other differences?

    Tried various bits, called the breakdown, turned out it was the brake sensor switch on the pedal! Took it off and shorted it out, could drive home without brake lights. Many thanks for the suggestions

    Drove it across London, stopped and put it in park, now it starts but I can't move the leaver from Park. Is it mechanical or electrical? The car starts and I think everything works
