    110 van mot

Redhand , Trewey, so if i buy a yank tank camper weighing 6500kg's it can be a class 4 (car mot) but a 110 weighing less than 2000 kgs come's in at a class 7 (commercial mot) just don't make sense , and seems daft to some (me).

    110 van mot

i know you have to have tacho fitted and use a disc if your towing a trailer for commercial use , and if you have a vehicle fitted with a tacho and it is NOT for commercial use you don't have to use a disc but you have to have it calibrated every couple of years , just get's more and more...

whoa saved by a kilo , beats me with some of the reg's now , we all know a transit is a commercial class 7 in most cases , a fiesta can be a car derived van , class 4 ? , but a 110 is 2 defined vehicles !.

as turboman has just stated his is 3499kg's revenue weight , are those who passed their test after 96 ( i think ) still entitled to drive them or are they in driving other than in accordance with their licence due to the weight class ?.

just asking the question , i know you can down rate a wagon by taking out a leaf or changing the springs , just seems daft at times how the wording on a form can catch some folk out .

don't need to be DEEP , think of the wake you leave when going thru water it may of been just enough to immerse the xy switch and cause a short , if you can leave it to dry or dry it then try again , mine only got soaked from road spray , it was heavy mind , but it was enough to make it play up.
