My 12j radiator has a small leak. Soon my rebuilt td5 engine is going in. Can I just buy a td5 radiator and hook that up the current 12j? Are the mounting brackets the same? My guess is not…but I’m sure people on here will have a better idea than me. Trying to avoid buying two radiators! TIA

thanks for that. So basicly need to put two idlers. one where the AC was and one where the ACE was correct? That makes sense. Still think its such a bad diagram... This is err 6949. goes at the side... Surely the other (err 6493) need a special mounting bracket as well? TIA

Anyone got a better diagram than this. changing a disco td5 engine into a defender (no ACE, no AC) so just need a belt diagram for crank pully, tensioner, fan pully, pas pump/waterpump pully. Thats it. Seems this is closest thing but not labeled and seems to have an extra pully at top.

Chaps, Been working slowly on a bench running TD5 before vehicle install. She’s running but just been brief runs. Seems I’m getting no throttle response on runs. Currently MAF and MAP nonexistent as don’t have intake tube or airbox. Been reading around the web and a lot of different opinions...

Any idea on those OME medium plus 5 shocks part number? In states so trying not just buy from GL and pay ££ for shipping. Must a place stateside I can get them. TIA

anyone got a parts list for this job? I must have adjusted radius arms and wide angle aframe ball joint if im going to do dislocation cone articulation setup? Other than that just springs and shocks and bushes? Do the prop shafts need changing? or do they extend? Hard to find light load rear...

I’m trying to run an engine on a stand before puting into car. Td5. Anyone have any experience with a pressure test kit that works plugged into back of oil cooler. Book says can use LRT-12-052C but hard to get hold of. Any oil pressure test kit with right thread should work tho right??? TIA

Anybody had problems with a FPR replacment relief valve not fitting? ordered a repair kit from JGS 4x4 and the new one was a slightly different size and didnt fit when i tried to press in with a vice. TIA
