Haha , love tools! What if the boot floor has gone? Is it a big job to fix, is it even required, or can a plate just be welded onto it?

Thanks very much, much appreciated! Are they easy enough to fix, engine wise, by yourself? The engine bays seem very roomy, and i guess with old 90's cars, the days before all these computers, should make it a bit easier?

When buying an old disco, pretty much pre 1996, over 150k, what are the common or serious things to look for prior to buying? Also, wheres the best place to get a good one but pretty cheap? Im not expecting miracles with a budget not stretching over £600. Autotrader & ebay are all i can think...

I dont meant to sound horribly stupid, but im guessing the lanes are marked up with the 't' as mentioned earlier?

Oh, and where would i find the best maps of say, the lakes, bowland, north wales etc? Ideally maps that show what is legal and useable. Id like to be planned up before i attempt it :)

Cheers for the help so far, insurance wont be the biggest issue, hoping for a £500 disco from autotrader and spend a bit of time and money on getting it up to scratch... I hear the 300 (or is it the 200?) is pretty bombproof, and better than the V8 pet. Do standard Ord.Survery maps clearly show...
