L322 Is the battery to blame and which one should I get?

Hi there folks 2005 L322 Vogue 3.0TD6 I've been getting a pretty regular air suspension warnings (recently replaced compressor and nearside front air strut). I also occasionally see a HDC malfunction message and the radio has stopped working. Could all of these errors be attributable to a...

    L322 Air Suspension Diagnostic Help

Evening all, 2005 RR Vogue 3.0 TD6 I just bought this RR with a "slight leak" in the nearside front air suspension bag. The car beeped a bit but it did level itself out when driving and I figured I'd probably have to get the bag replaced at some point. The message was "Suspension fault max...

    300 TDi Heater/Blower

Ok - fuse is good, I can get to the heater under the glove box like Gafferjim said - but how do I diagnose the problem? There is a clicking sound coming from around that area when you move the slider from 0 to 1.

    Diff lock on 300tdi

I just had a mate wiggle the stick whilst I was underneath. Wherever you see movement - drown it in penetrating fluid. Leave overnight and try again in the morning :) Better to try this first than start taking the insides apart.

    The Money Pit

Hey hey, I have an M reg Discovery 300TDi. (Will attach some pictures). I bought it in the summer thinking ahead to the winter months after my Mum bought a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. Really I wanted a Range Rover but couldn't find one in my price range and eventually settled for a...

    300 TDi Heater/Blower

Hey, I'm sure you'll all agree that this isn't the time of year to have a dodgy heater! My landy has been laid up for the past 2 months waiting for parts to fix off-road damage, and now that it has been mechanically restored (well, kinda) I've found that the blower on the heater has given up...

    Bumper problems and solutions

Infact, if I was going to replace the front bumper with a non-winch bumper for £200+, wouldn't I be as well to fork out a bit extra and just get a winch? Like this... Winch bumper kit for Discovery 1 / Range rover classic on eBay (end time 28-Jun-10 11:45:31 BST)

    Bumper problems and solutions

Thanks for the links guys. These bumpers seem very expensive - £200+ without a winch seems kind of pricy for a lump of metal (maybe the Scot in me coming out!). I've removed all of the plastic around the front and I have just the metal bit of the bumper remaining, which, I guess, gives me as...

    RRC - Couple of problems

OK, thanks guys. I guess it's bound to be the motor or the ECU so we'll start by testing the motor and then replacing that if it's fecked, then the ECU... Thanks for all the help, Alec. (I'll let you know how we get on :))

    RRC - Couple of problems

Thanks for the info. But the ECU seems to be doing whatever it's meant to do - the hammers against the coils click when the switch is pressed up and down. Does this mean the fault could be with the motor? And if so, how do we go about accessing the motor to check it? Cheers, Alec.

    RRC - Couple of problems

The switch is definitely working - tried swapping it with the passenger one and no difference. We took apart the cubby box thing and found the ECU... You might have to forgive my total lack of auto electrical knowledge here - but does the ECU only control the driver side switch? The box was...

    Bumper problems and solutions

Hey hey, Following a brief visit to the North Lakes 4x4 Club for their "Road Trim Vehicle" event (Read: outrageously modified vehicle event) I've torn most of the remainder of the plastic rubbish around the front bumper and have a more serious problem at the back. The rear bumper (passenger...

    Drumclog PnP

No pay and play in your own landy with this place. I tried e-mailing the person about Drumclog but no response - does anyone know if it is still open or when the next event might be? Cheers, Alec.

    RRC - Couple of problems

Not checked relays for heater yet (will worry about that more in the winter!) Right now the driver's window is kind of the priority. It doesn't appear to be getting any power - can't hear a motor trying or anything... It's a 1991 H reg. How can we access the ECU, and can it be...
