Are rear spots legal as long you don't switch them on, on roads ? How do you wire up rear spots, where does the wire run go, under the head lining ? Which spots are best, looking for ones with a hand hold ?

I got it back in, I checked Defender 90 CD manual I had which says locate the bottom lug 1st, would not go in, if you locate the spring catch 1st and press upwards to compress the spring lug, and then push forward it snaps into position. Cheers

Do you locate the bottom fixed clip in first and give it a belt ? I will put some Vaseline on

My rear view mirror was lose so unclipped it and tightened up the bracket, tried to put the mirror back but wont go back, theres a latch spring but for the life of me cannot get it to go back, how do you get it back ? Thanks for any help

its the bit on the hinge thats lose, I can see now , got to unscrew the hinge part to get at the mirror screws behind.... Thanks, there bloody tight need that sledge hammer

I've been offered a new VALEO starter motor at £170 fitted, so I am going to wait till this one packs up all together then replace with the VALEO. Thanks for your help
