I got a set of 5 x 245/75R16's BFG ATs for my discovery, fitted for £511. This was from a local place - Mansfield tyres. They were about £80 cheaper than Blackcircles.com IIRC... You just need to ring round your local tyre places and get the best deal...

I'm as sure as i can be it's at the rear, but noises travel so it could be from anywhere. Strangely, the noise isn't travelling up the steering column, which is why i'm more drawn to the fact it's coming from the rear. I may have to remove rear prop and take it for a spin.....

Good question. They are correctly fitted, but may not be as good as they could be - i'll add them to the shopping list too!
