Heater Fan connections

Hello all, Can anyone tell me how the heater fan motor/control lever in my wifes 1988 90TD all hangs together...?

Reason i ask is because we have recently bought it. prior to buying it, i checked the fan and heater worked - it did - both speeds, all OK...

When we picked it up, the heater matrix had been changed as it was leaking, but the fan no longer works. The cable from the fan lever on the left hand side of the dash panel goes to the heater and pulls a lever, but the lever only seems to move a baffle in the heater box....

I could do with getting it all working before winter, but as i don't know how it's all supposed to hang together, i don't know where to start.

The lever on the left hand side does the motor speed, and the 2 levers on the right do the hot cold control, and the other lever does the direction.

Check the wiring on the motor control, and then make sure its been plugged back in at the heater, a meter to check for voltage etc might be a good idea, check its not fused.

The fan speed switch is so simple it can't realy not work unless the wires have come off. I'd do as Disco says and check the other end of the wiring first.
