hi mate,the tyres in those pics are fedima scirroco 285/75 r16,they stand 33.5" tall and 11.5" wide and are on 30mm offsett deepdish modulars

just re-read thought it was 1 wire,as above if its 3 small wires there will have been a switch hard wired to the cab to operate the winch

on the bottom of the winch motor there should be an earth stud(3 studs on top,1 on the bottom),it may go to that

forgot you dont want 1 off a v8 disco as the ratios are too high

any manuel disco lt230 transfer box will be ok (200 and 300),it was only the borg warner (rrc)that had the viscous coupling rather than manuel diff lock

If theres no squeeling or grinding noises then the bearings may be ok,may just need the hub nut tightening up to take up the play(vertical),the swivel play (horizontal) you may be able to remove a shim or two to take up the play as for your sisters im not fussy i'll take either 1 :D

Dont know if it will help you but i live in chesterfield and work all round nottinghamshire daily,so if there isnt any one from derbyshire but is from notts that travels south it may help
