you may have to bleed the system with diagnostic tool

may be worth looking at wiring on top the gearbox, as it can rub through and cause intermittent fault

thanks for that,but mine has two small pipes to bottom of rad,top spigot is blanked in rad is this correct?

On a td5 rad is the top fuel cooler spigot supposed to be blanked off in the rad?
