Glad to be of service - friends are for helping you with those fiddly awkward jobs on a Landy that require you to have eight pairs of arms and incredibly strong and long and thin fingers. Oh and to do the wiring!
Parabolics? Mine already had 'em fitted when I bought her. Just two 'leaves' as opposed to 9 & 11. A lot more comfortable. Expect to pay about £200 for a decent pair but worth saving up for unless you usually carry heavy loads, in which case leaf-springs might not seem too hard.
A 2286 on LPG? Mine's a 2495 on LPG. What are you getting to the gallon/litre? Reason I ask is I only recently started an .xl file for my fuel receipts (I always note the mileage evry time I fill up), but consumption has varied from 14.5 mpg down to 8.5mpg! I've recently replaced the LPG regulator so don't know if that might make a difference.
