Watts Linkage bushes RGX100960...

That was a handy read TaDa, thank you for that.

Have just replaced the nearside inner Watts linkage bush adjoining the pivot.

Thought I’d share some supplementary thoughts and pictures.

British Parts were good in supplying a RGX100960, cost £31. Local dealer (not main dealer) quoted £154 for part fitted. I took my time and it took 4 to 5 hours.

I agree with you TaDa, loosen the nuts on ramps then jack the body. This is required so you can remove the central watts linkage pivot bolt. I left the wheels on for security. Next, remove the linkage, replace the bush, refit, then torque up back on ramps.

I managed to replace the bush without a press. I used a piece of timber with a 44mm hole, a 30mm socket, a lump hammer and 'this is happening' attitude. Care is needed to be sure you don't damage the seal.

Hope you find these pictures useful.
