Seems like my fuel pressure regulator is away just wondering if anybody has uses a TD5 Fuel Pressure Regulator Repair Kit and was it worth while or is it best just to buy a new one?

didn't know you could get a repair kit

but seems best to just get a new one, pain to fit let alone trying to repair it too

I have used the kit off ebay but it was no good as it was not the rings that had failed on mine it was the diaphragm. So b4 you buy try and see where the leak is coming from. The kit is good but only if it is your rings or gasket that have gone

that is indeed what i normally find ,you can feel if hole on rear is dripping diesel

i tried the repair kit and it still leaked, although i have seen other people fit them with success. ended up buying a new regulator from LR as with the 15% discount you can hagg;e from them they aRE CHEAPER THAN SH*TPART ONES

My first post... recently replaced the fuel regulator on my 04 TD5 disco using a service kit available from ebay, LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2 / DEFENDER TD5 FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR REBUILD KIT | eBay this kit includes the regulator unit, gaskets and 'O' rings for both types of regulator casting. Cost 39 quid and worked a treat. big saving over a new unit at about 125. Not much extra work as the hard bit is getting the regulator housing off/on. Once off, getting the old regulator out of the housing is just a case of removing a circlip.
