put the wind up myself this morning- (driving a tad fast as I was late for work ) anyway bright spark in front of me did an emergency stop for a squirrel:mad:.......

had to slam on brakes to avoid rear ending it and it took an age to stop- brakes were really soft and squidgy. Tried it agin when I had empty stretch of road and same thing happened. Havent noticed anything different with them doing normal braking in past few days.

So question ...... (all be it this might be an obvious one).... do I need new brakes ? In the past I've had new ones when they've started screeching- but they didnt feel like this and no noise this time

mine are a bit like that too ,was going to try bleeding them first as madhunter says, then take the wheels off and check pistons are working properly..going to do this before i put it back on rd,,

will need looking at TBH. How about your trusted garage mabe worth them to have a look see for you may have a contaminated brakes due to a hub seal could be somthing might be nothing needs checking tho. Jai

was never going to do anything other than take it into garage-

cant change a bulb not likely to decide- I know I'll see if i could sort out the brake problem myself (which has ability to kill me & all kids) !!!

just wanted to know what things they might say to me when I take it in so ive a rough idea of what it could be :)
