Afternoon,

I noticed my o/s sill (complete with tinoil covering) has taken a proper ****ting whilst having fun at the weekend!!!!!

I think I need to invest in some sliders and fancy the ones with the added tube that can help shortarses getting in (Not me you understand)

There appears to be a bewildering choice so was hoping for some recommendations

I must admit I like the look of the safari-equip ones but I'm sure they're not cheap.
Are the bolt on ones as good as the weld on?

Any help much appreciated

Freaky, you were typing this at the same time i was typing mine of the same title! (i did do a search honest!) Have you seen the guardian ones?

I was looking for the Guardian ones to post a link for KTM, but couldn't find it.
I've seen them on flea-bay and thought they looked good.

They are a bit pricey at over £200 but look like they'll do the job! Added bonus of course is that they'll enable your landy to go up VERY steep hills (see 3rd pic!)
GUARDIAN 110 ROCKSLIDERS ROCK SLIDERS + TREE GUARDS on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 30-Apr-08 21:28:07 BST)

Flippin heck. That is steep.;) :D

I went on there website the other day, thinking that they'd be cheaper to buy there.

On ebay they are £189 + £15 postage = £204
On their website they are £204 + free postage =£204

Cheeky feckers. I will buy em on ebay just to knock their profit margin down.:p

Get a local blacksmith or fabricators to make a set up for you. The steel to make a pair only costs about £20. And they aren't that hard to make an hour or 2 max. £200 is a rip off price to pay.

FFS Grunt get a move on yu'll have em all finking us Hull lads are slow or summat.

An Speaking of Slow on me way ter pick me noo roofrack up tonite I picked an hitchhiker up just on tuther side of the bridge. Poor bugger had been stood there fer 9hours.
