I was looking in an LR mag and saw a 4 ton bottle jack that got a good write up....a Draper 4 ton rrp £16.61.
Bottom line is I bought a 6 ton bottle jack made by Draper for £15.90 delivered to the door:) from Amazon.
It arrived today... I went for the 6 ton rather than the 4 ton as I dont have standard wheels and the extra height was a plus.. 17 inch against 14.7 without any platform.
Looks like a great bit of kit for the money.....any thoughts about a 'cradle' for the top? I think a 1 foot square 3/4 inch ply should be good for the base? :)

Tried that... but Amazon recognises me. When I tried posting the link I could order buy another with one click on the link. Dont fancy taking the chance of a dozen arriving next week.

Amazon.co.uk and search draper bottle jack...... Draper 39056 Hydraulic Bottle Jack (6 Tonne)

Know this is an old thread but thanks, helped me decide on a 6ton over the 4ton (for the extra height) as i have found alot of sites especially amazon don't state the max height.
Proper sick of carrying about and getting the farm jack out every time i need to change a tyre!

I've got a 2 stage sprinter one and it works really well.

I had to use it the other day swaping bits of exhaust and I checked its max and min heights. 25cm min to 57cm max, which is higher than my axle stands go.
