Going topless

With the thoughts of summer comes the idea of getting the landy topless. So here is my question...

what do you do with your seatbelts?

My seatbelts are attached to the hardtop, they are enureses (can not spell that) and I do not know where to mount them if I get the hardtop off.

Any ideas would be very helpful. What have you lot done to yours when going topless?

Either fit to a roll bar or a seatbelt bar. You may need to upgrade the belts to 'any position' inertias or they won't work.

thanks protactor, was thinking that would be the type of answer. Trouble is I am always looking for the quick fix / easy option. Will look into the cost, which is a shame it will all boil down to cash

I put a set of 3 point harnesses in mine, bolted to the two original mounts at the bottom and the bulkhead behind the seats.

Mine has seat belt holes through rear bulk head and on hard top. If your going throu rear bulkhead place a 3mm steel plate in to spead load - i'll sort some piccies for you...

no one makes series HD ones, it'd be a custom job

My series one has a roll hoop in the back though and I'm planning on hooking up some seatbelts to the cage

not hard to do with a tube bender

I may make some up for myself later this year as the current ones are a bit bent

not seen them before, still I doubt they'll protect you if it goes tits up
