changed the diff oils on me disco...

not sure what was in em, but it didnt look or smell like oil

Removed the DAF fuel tank from the truck and fitted one off a disco , just got to clip all the pipes up , then stick some diesel in it had a bit of a prob with the filler neck .

A removed 6wks worth of half chewed biscits an bits of sarnies, juice bottles, crisp packets, sweetie wrappers an somethin that wis once a bannana,,,,, "Thats it no more food in the motor" a said an they all just larffed at me,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,, "Dont firget christmas is just aroon the corner" a said,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"sorry daddy" they said,,,

If yer on about the calliper bolts. they is 12 point nuts. a standard 12 point socket fits em. but a 6 sided socket wunt fit.

its the bracket that carries the caliper and yeah they are 12 point, but why not just put in ordinary bolts if ordinary sockets fit?

Today, I have removed the rad & intercooler in order to clean out all thew **** and mud caked on them.

This should have been quite a straight forward job. Should have been.....

So, I get cracking, only to realise that i will need a special spanner to remove the fan. Off I pop, try three different motor factors, none of which have any in stock.

So it's hammor and chisel time. Looks like I will now need to replace the viscous fan with an electric one.

Tomorrows jobs will be to clean the rad and intercooler off and flush them through after leaving them to soak in the parrafin bath overnight.

Today ah've fitted a fuel lift pump... 'How to' tae follow
