anyone know what value it is? reason I ask is I just got a series 2 tank and fitted into mine, which has a defender dash.

filled it half way and it reads full

I managed a work around, but want a more suitable solution, hence why I wondered if anyone knew.

Cheers

not got one to hand really, but have a more resistors and electronic components than you can shake a ****ty stick at.

So its either pay for a new sender or cobble something together.

Mind you, mentioning that series senders work on 10V helps a bit, thanks

this has been fixed:

float had a pin prick in it and fuel got into it, making it sink to bottom, thus shorting the float arm to the unit case, hence reading full on gauge.

Removed float, found pin hole and drilled it, then drilled another hole in end of float to get fuel out of it. fitted it back to the arm and hot glued the holes back up.

so far its working! fuel level's changing after 60 miles driving!
