Yes it may just be the faders, as i've not had the time to play with it and the dodgy pixels makes it more difficult.

Am drooling over your Custom AV job and wondering if I can get someone to do similar for £500 notes. For the Approx £350 price difference its well worth it. I could probably do it myself but would take me a couple of longweekends i think and would rather pay someone and come in to work for the overtime to pay for it

A car good audio specialist will probably do it for you, although they might be reluctant to fit a unit you have bought from China. They will want to sell you a branded unit at £500+ and then another £200 to fit it. They may also be reluctant to heat and bend the air ducts. You can fit a single DIN unit with a slide out screen, but I don't think these look so slick.

yah, 2 down 10 to go... Speakers was just the fader setting. Couldnt see it easily because of the pixilated display. Cigarette lighters was just a fuse. 'Borrowed' the one allocated to the non existent heated rear seats...

Steering column is apparently a common (and expensive) problem. LRO mentioned this as one of the most important things to check before you buy one of these.

Have a read of MkIII L322 Range Rover Remedies There will hopefully be some suggestions in there.

Thanks for the infor on the tilt mechanism.

The article at Steering Column tilt and reach problems and solutions (Range Rover III) talks about a recall. does anyone know if this was for the USA only or world wide as i've looked on Car Recalls : car recall search results - The AA and cannot find any reference to it.

Im guessing I can ring a stealership and ask them to check for any outstanding recalls?
