I will have to replace the studs on the downpipe top fixings yet. When I do that I shall have a but more off a faff around lining it all up. It has a dummy cat on it, if that was a slightly different shape then it would be a nice fit.

The Fuel Rail Sensor on a petrol Freelanders 2 (3.2 I6), part number LR015294 or LR005493, is located in an easily accessible location, but the single torx bolt is almost impossible to access without unbolting and partially lifting the fuel rail...

Only for home use. Its very difficult growing much here really and the irrigation makes constant watering easier or helps make sure everything isn't dead when we come back from having been away.

Today I removed/replaced fuel rail sensor and got a new error code P0183-00. Fuel temperature sensor A circuit input high. Once it generated a check engine light, but not each time. The fault code comes almost immediately on driving. Odds are...

Hello! PO disconnected the screenwash bottle and I'm trying to refit it. But it seems like there are 2 motors. One on the bottle and one that connects the washer pipes to the screen. I've no idea if this is right, plus there doesn't seem to be...

The top 8 upper bolts are captive and 10mm so a good six sided socket is the best tool for the job, no WD-40 should be needed, they screw into a brass collet which in turn is pressed into the plastic cam cover. Crack open the 8 bolt/screws, then...

Given that the car is parked for static leak tracing, just unplug the relay. Then once that's done put the relay back, and do live leak tracing with engine running. In the latter case you're looking for leaks during normal operation. Better...

I've found with the exhaust pipes there can be a bit of fettling needed to get them to fit, and not foul the chassis. to stop my downpipe rubbing on the chassis I've spaced the relevant bracket away from the chassis with a few washers. Also, I...

Hi All, I’m after a lower or bottom dashboard without a speaker if possible, for a 1998 Sreg defender 300tdi. Unfortunately the last owners cut away the dashboard to fit a metal box to fit a radio and switches and never finished it, so I want to...
