You are right it was the seventh word, it was the first sentence that ended with it. That fundamentally changes everything, oh wait it doesn't, it makes no difference, and here we have another gotcha comment. I don't know if you are mentally...

Just a thought, how old are the glow plugs and will it start with easy start or a small sqirt of brake cleaner. If you have one failed flow plug, the engine is a damn pig to get going had you checked the modulation when it was running and at...

Done the front propshaft UJs and refitted it then sealed a leak (hopefully) on the transfer box. Discovered that my rear prop now needs the UJs doing but that's a tomorrow job and with that off it'll let me sort out that diff flange leak as well.

Have you checked the flexible hoses? They can bulge causing spongy brakes. You would know if the rears were wrong by the hand brake.

It's a bit of an odd one as two or three weeks ago in the first instance the car had been fine then on a random occurance it did not turn over. No click or anything. Just dead. I looked at starter connections, including the signal connection...

Following up with this again. I bled the master again, which admittingly made it a little better, but still when the engine is off (Brake booster now works) the pedals goes hard but is incredibly spongy! I cannot work it out!!! I have replaced...

Being a student has quite a significant effect on the viability of buying and running a Landy. Firstly, affordability. Insurance and reliability as mentioned, and fuel and general running costs. Also, consider the theft risk. They do get stolen...

Mine had an intermittent starting problem a few months ago. Turned the key and nothing, no solenoid nothing. Tried jump starting; still nothing. Replaced the starter motor then it was fine for about a week then the same thing happened. I put the...

If you live locally I would just go and look at it, if you don't know what you're looking for regarding rust etc take someone who does. Of course as people have said above check the VIN, everything needs to match, pay for a carvertical check or...

Do you get a solenoid click?? Measure cranking voltage. Low voltage can be insufficient to pull the starter in and make the contacts up. It could be worn contacts or high resistance as you say. Earth leads can be checked by measuring voltage drop...

I think it looks quite nice. I think I'd prefer it if mine was that colour rather than your typical army/nato green. Speaking of mine... day 3 of doing things, I dug into the misfire, played about with things, got it running better... nearly...

Tis near impossible to build a reservoir int uk. Too much opposition. Water companies have plans to do it but can't. In light ov the media coverage there may be a bit more public support int future.
