Had a local Land Rover group meetup today, followed by a little bit of light laning. That was all good apart from embarrasment before we even got going with the engine not turning over as we were about to set off. It appears I now have an...

The latest gents Running like clockwork! A slight oil leak from a failed filter housing seal and another from the oil cooler. Otherwise good as new. Just a fan and transmission tunnel carpet to fit

Anyone used Flexi exhaust pipe ?, got this down pipe had to cut it as it was hitting chassis in first pic , but was thinking if I attach a short piece of Flexi to it just to get down and along through to other side of bulkhead, then I could add...

RH thread turns CW to tighten, the pulley turns CW so should drag the nut in, should it be able to rotate about the spindle at all. Also had a damn great spring washer underneath the nut. As for knock ons, how would it be possible to fit them...

Sorry no I don’t have a pic. The car was recently in for a new slave cylinder and when you look at the reservoir under the bulk head there is a slight weep of fluid. I thin they changed the item near the clutch lever.

Is a sod is what it is. Ungrateful cow had a new head gasket for Easter (she dunt like choclit). Had the alternator out and tried refitting the pulley. Sadly it had worn itself oversize in the process and despite my best (inept) efforts won't...

What are you concerned about by having a landrover for general uni life? I bought my 110 when I was 18 with the very first instalment of my student loan. Best investment I ever made in my opinion. I than had it as my only vehicle through...

Completely agree with the above. A 90 can carry people, things, or the dog. But can only do one at a time. And as mentioned any more than 4 people and it becomes cramped and uncomfortable. If you want to carry more than one thing form the list...

The last reservoir in the UK was built in Derbyshire in 1992 yet the population has increased by 11 million in 2022 , I would say that is good planning 😠😠😠

Do you have a picture ? Most of gear issues are related to hydrolics on the TD4, you will have first issue with reverse and or 1st gear.

You changes the air filter as well?
  • MJI
Managed to find it, on full throttle there is often a bit of power drop around 4000 rpm or whatever the gears change at. Yet cold damp, none at all, just powers through, like it is in a race it wants to win. So looks like I could do with a...

What year is yours? My 1990 Ninety doe's not have any numbers on it. Looking at your pic can not be 100% but recon your axle is a Ninety unit. If you remove the top swivel and find it fits into a Railko bush then that confirms. Have a look at...

Hi, Manual car ? According to the manual the car need to be still, push the clutch pedal all way down, wait a little and then put the reverse. If you can’t get it to reverse, you certainly have issue with clutch hydrolics. Why I say that...

Agree with the above, it may well have seating for four in the back but only if those seated on one side have legs. If you are a youngster I would strongly suggest an insurance quote would be wise, infact regardless of age get a qoute first.

I was not offended by one word, I was offended by a whole series of attacks over several days by many people. The point was that the belittling started from the very beginning from the very first word. If that word had been the only thing that...

Trubble is doing that is far more complex than doing it with electricity, and as we now know they cannot even do that very well, hence huge windfarms being paid to not generate leccy whenever they can.
