If you live locally I would just go and look at it, if you don't know what you're looking for regarding rust etc take someone who does. Of course as people have said above check the VIN, everything needs to match, pay for a carvertical check or...
Do you get a solenoid click??
Measure cranking voltage.
Low voltage can be insufficient to pull the starter in and make the contacts up. It could be worn contacts or high resistance as you say. Earth leads can be checked by measuring voltage drop...
I think it looks quite nice. I think I'd prefer it if mine was that colour rather than your typical army/nato green.
Speaking of mine... day 3 of doing things, I dug into the misfire, played about with things, got it running better... nearly...
New slave cylinder ? If the master look new yes, if the hydraulic flush was not well done you can have an issue, same if they put a budget master cylinder…
Tis near impossible to build a reservoir int uk. Too much opposition. Water companies have plans to do it but can't. In light ov the media coverage there may be a bit more public support int future.
Hi All
Freelander 2 (2011) l filled the tank to half way before a trip, half way there, furl light came on, fuel gauge was on empty and mileage range dropping fast to zero. No signs of a leak and was able to complete my two hour journey without...
Had a local Land Rover group meetup today, followed by a little bit of light laning. That was all good apart from embarrasment before we even got going with the engine not turning over as we were about to set off. It appears I now have an...

Running like clockwork! A slight oil leak from a failed filter housing seal and another from the oil cooler. Otherwise good as new.
Just a fan and transmission tunnel carpet to fit
Anyone used Flexi exhaust pipe ?, got this down pipe had to cut it as it was hitting chassis in first pic , but was thinking if I attach a short piece of Flexi to it just to get down and along through to other side of bulkhead, then I could add...
RH thread turns CW to tighten, the pulley turns CW so should drag the nut in, should it be able to rotate about the spindle at all. Also had a damn great spring washer underneath the nut.
As for knock ons, how would it be possible to fit them...
Sorry no I don’t have a pic. The car was recently in for a new slave cylinder and when you look at the reservoir under the bulk head there is a slight weep of fluid. I thin they changed the item near the clutch lever.
Is a sod is what it is. Ungrateful cow had a new head gasket for Easter (she dunt like choclit).
Had the alternator out and tried refitting the pulley. Sadly it had worn itself oversize in the process and despite my best (inept) efforts won't...
What are you concerned about by having a landrover for general uni life? I bought my 110 when I was 18 with the very first instalment of my student loan. Best investment I ever made in my opinion. I than had it as my only vehicle through...
Completely agree with the above. A 90 can carry people, things, or the dog. But can only do one at a time. And as mentioned any more than 4 people and it becomes cramped and uncomfortable. If you want to carry more than one thing form the list...
The last reservoir in the UK was built in Derbyshire in 1992 yet the population has increased by 11 million in 2022 , I would say that is good planning 😠😠😠
Managed to find it, on full throttle there is often a bit of power drop around 4000 rpm or whatever the gears change at.
Yet cold damp, none at all, just powers through, like it is in a race it wants to win.
So looks like I could do with a...
