Did a little experiment, bypassed the heater matrix and now i have cool air coming from both sides. Still think ita not great but there is definitely a problem under the dash. Question is: is it easy to fix whatever is wrong or is it better to...
R U sure you mean that? A right-handed nut would need to be on a pulley that turns anti-clockwise to tighten itself.
This is why peeps who have knock-ons have the nuts that tell you which side to put them on.
There was once a member of a kit...
The shuttle vavle came off and is now in bits, being cleaned up for reassembly.
The plastic switch seems to be fouling the shuttle valve itself if fully screwed down. No washer was there so head scratching time for assembly to make it work...
Hi There . Thank you for the idea but after looking into it it seems the crankshaft position sensor is more likely to cause starting problems . I have been scrambling all over the car looking for this sensor and so far I can't find it . Any...
Most of rot was caused by damage to outer cill but they all suffer at ends of cill all the bits behind plastic that catch mud, I suppose the answer might be to treat all these areas, structurally only removing lip of cill so not an issue also...
noted... will check.
Good one to have. i think what i have is best described as a knocking sound no?

Somewhere in the comments a chap with a P38 has made the...
Thank you all for your advice. The MOT history shows no advisories for any rust, although I'm not sure how much that can be trusted, as I'm aware of at least one other Landy nearby being an absolute bucket but having 0 advisories due to a dodgy...
New dog n bone up and running. Tinterweb, phone, messages all working. It is extremely smart, it has blanked out the freelander section all on its own. Sent from my noo wizzy toy.
Hello all. I have a freelander t d4 that is reluctant to go into reverse. As I look at the gear quadrant the rocking yolk is moving on the shaft and I’ve been told the roll pin will need replacing. ? My question is about the alignment of the...
Hi, I’m a newby here from Ireland, with a 2001 P38 2.5 diesel with 157,000 miles on it. I’ve found loads of useful info here and I’m hoping that someone might have an idea what’s going on with it before I give up on it. I’m not usually one to...
Last year I put vacuum on my Blue P38 AC system, but didn't get round to having it gassed. Re-checked to day & it still has full vacuum, so hopefully gonna get it done this week. Green P38 AC is nice & cold, so that one is getting used...
Try a number plate sale company.
Out of curiosity I enquired how much it would be to buy my own number. One company replied to say it was on their data base as 'For Sale'.
It wasn't me so possibly a previous owner ?
