    The shuttle vavle came off and is now in bits, being cleaned up for reassembly. The plastic switch seems to be fouling the shuttle valve itself if fully screwed down. No washer was there so head scratching time for assembly to make it work...

    Most of rot was caused by damage to outer cill but they all suffer at ends of cill all the bits behind plastic that catch mud, I suppose the answer might be to treat all these areas, structurally only removing lip of cill so not an issue also...

    It is not an 89 truck. Many features mark it as noted above as a 300tdi. If Vin and V5 say so very likely it's a ringer.

    Last year I put vacuum on my Blue P38 AC system, but didn't get round to having it gassed. Re-checked to day & it still has full vacuum, so hopefully gonna get it done this week. Green P38 AC is nice & cold, so that one is getting used...

    Im paranoid it will drop out so i applied epoxy resin to it so everything is solid. Check yours is still in place unless you have a snorkel fitted.
