The fuel filter alongside the fuel pump under the rear wheel arch is new just two days ago . I was wondering if the clear plastic inline filter near the battery could give problems . I think it's a good idea to use a torch and a mirror to check...
If the sale of the car explicitly didn’t include the private plate and is written on the receipt as such then can’t you just apply by post as you don’t have the V5C and have it removed as you own it? obviously the current owner will be unaware...
Morning all.
Just a quick one.
The time has come to purchase a new set of doors for Noel, my 109 station wagon.
Have found where to get the two piece front doors, but am struggling to find the one piece second row doors.
The only supplier I...
Try running it with the air filter cover removed. That way crankcase fumes cannot get in to the inlet. Also try running with disconnected EGR & intercooler hoses. That way you can eliminate turbo seals leaking. Basically your dividing the...
i do not.
You are correct its a p38.
I'll start with that, i have moved the trans oil cooler in front of the ac condencer.
Never heard the fans turning on tho.
Shine a torch down onto the the pulley when running, see if you can see any bright metal particles, or remove the auxiliary belt run the car for a minute see if the clattering goes away.
Yours.
Just got the AC recharged, still not blowing cold. Cool air, but not cold. :(
Maybe the compressor or the blend motor/distribution flap is bad.
Got any tips?
And yet I did not start the aggressive condescending patronizing behavior.
I just didn't bend over and take it.
So if you want to put it in terms of a war, you guys are Putin and I am Ukraine.
Thanks @Arctic2. Do you think so? It crossed my mind, but then I thought I had it changed like 7 years ago, with a Corteco. Ok will have a look for one.

And yet if you look in the beginning, it was not me who was rude and condescending.
I didn't come here to create some fun, I simply came here to get an answer to a legitimate question.
If someone asking a reasonable question creates this...
And make sure your oil level isn't rising, the HP pump can leak into the sump.
Dunno if the TD4 has a non-return valve in the fuel pipe work. The L Series has in the priming bulb (which the TD4 doesn't have).
I've always wanted a Cappuccino, and this popped up the other day...

It looks in good nick, but why store it for 5 years? Tempted.
Wonder what condition its in.
Don't envy you the task at all. Small parcels of it shoved into bin-liners and tied off and lobbed thru the hatch. For each "goal" reward yourself with 1 ice-cold beer. Job "jobbed" in no time. Are you vacuuming out all the "bits" too?
I did a very professional job of ignoring today.
Mind you it is very easy to do a comprehensive ignoring when you have such a high-flying, jet-setting, international adventure travel occupation
My mind and body was consumed today...
Edit:
I fitted a new PCV/crankcase breather kit, the one below. The kit I changed out had an oily filter, but I wouldn't say loads of oily residue around the casing. It was a bit oily, for sure. Annoyingly I seem to have thrown the original out -...
Exacerbated by being in a Tyvex suit with a ffp face mask on 🤣 It’s my own fault, I could’ve paid the £3k the contractor wanted to do the job. I just channelled my inner @kevstar and thought the money would be better spent on a tractor.
