I pressurised it using a tester up to ~15 psi, and didn't see any coolant coming from the top of the expansion tank, so I don't think it's leaking from the overflow I was going to have another look this morning, but the weather has decided that...

I expect you have seen this already, but it does give pause for thought to you, your missus and any of us who have drawn up wills. It certainly made us rethink. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2390x51zqo

Age and engine type? I would recomend a mid-80’s, model with series doors fitted and a tdi engine conversion. That will get you the closest experience to what @saxavordian is describing and the true Land Rover driving expiriance. Don’t listen...

Just try using the fob to lock and unlock, there shouldn’t be any need to also use the key. The fob also remobilise the engine therefore no LED, the the system is Passive so the immobilisation is automatic indicated by the LED flashing

Find someone local with a 3d printer? You can get it custom made to fit what you want then then.

I didn't make the marks on the VCU, they were probably done by those who changed the UJs.

So didn't get a chance to look at the water pump, however, Managed to plug in my Pscan to log the current O2 sensor. As explained to me by @pscan.eu the O2 sensor should fluctuate between 0.2V and 0.9V Where 0.44V is a missing / wiring fault...

I've been searching for "mondo mode" conversion to remove the rear shaft (temporarily in my case, as I'd like it back to have a proper 4x4) but couldn't find precise information. Maybe my lack of english makes the find more difficult. All I read...

Step-1: Buy the DC Clamp meter recommended by Alibro above. Step-2: Don't try putting a multimeter in-line with the battery feed unless you know what you're doing. Use the clamp meter & note the value after the car is off & locked for at...

First stop, have you checked the battery drain since you solved the bonnet issue ? Now, gotta be honest, I know the principle of parasitic draw. You place your multi meter across the battery post and disconnected lead and read milliamps. Pull...

1.20m extension. 5kg : 80 sec 8kg : 35 sec I have no Idea how to interprete these results except that they seem 2 times longer than the measures from the guy in the video. Is it so bad ?

This is the key. Very ver different between first na engined 90/110. And the last puma models. Dealer would let you drive what you are looking to buy but doesn’t help you choose between models if you have no experience.
