V8bob replied to the thread Sequence of restoration?.
I think the most popular method is strip it down have a few bits repaired and lose interest. At least if you do as dag019 said it makes it easier to see what is there when you sell as an abandoned project in a few years time👍

Headlights sorted. Thanks Grebby. 👍 How need to sort the spot lights and where that wire labelled 'To Negative/High Beam'? Once I have identified the correct termination of this wire I feel the spots will also work as they should.

Hi, If you can't bleed the system, the Master or slave is faulty. You should try to bleed the system again, paying attention to remove all the air in the system. Regards

Thanks Nodge, I was really particular about making sure the injector seats were clean and new copper washers and O rings fitted. Intuatively it all comes back to the injectors and it feels like there's a loss of compression and hence the unburnt...

dag019 replied to the thread Series 3 Rear step options.
I only have the single side on my 110, you can buy them just as a single. I also bent mine so it does not act as bumper but the towball is the furthest rear point which is more robust than the step if you do hit anything.

Hi This is the 1st time I have posted, The low coolant level indicator came up on the dashboard, I have traced the leak to a red pipe underneath the belly of the car. (engine guard?) Although all the pipes are black on the coolant system this one...

Blimey - that’s low mileage! It’s now 14 years old; I’d certainly expect it to need a gearbox oil change, and that would be my first item to do in order to try to address a general ‘gearbox’ issue, unless you have a code reader and a specific...

Your water/coolant pump has a tiny hole on the bottom that will leak if it is leaking inside. This may or may not be showing any coolant, depending on where the problem is. Difficult to see, I know. I had to change mine I little while back. A...

US$26,000 is probably about right for that Land Rover, when you look at the price good ones go for in the USA. l've seen them at $60,000. But as above, maybe if you could import one yourself. Good Series 3's in the U.K. are in the region...
