And no I am not putting up the pic of you in your mankini!!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
If you think about it, running both headlights off one fuse could be very dangerous, when driving at night and something blows "the" fuse, it then puts them both off at the same time.:eek::eek:
Cheapest fix and first job with brakes is to follow the bleed procedure as per RAVE. Don't rush it and pump plenty of fresh fluid through.
How many presses of the brake pedal before the ABS pump kicks in? If the accumulator membrane is shot it...
You could put Megasquirt or similar on it and then map whatever you want but it is an awful lot of messing about for a brick of a car.
As you said, there are a few off the shelf cams available that would do the job.
Turners. Don't think they're as well thought of as they used to be. V8 Developments might be worth a look.
Changing the cam is the first job. Easy enough to do if you follow RAVE. After that you can get someone to play with the ECU but think...
No... unfortunately not, problem is that seem that car is not accelerating when start moving, upon I reach 1600 RPM the suddenly accelerate. But this only starting from stop.
Don't think a home amateur mechanic is going to easily or reliably measure cam wear tbh. And it won't tell you the state of the lifters.
And even if in perfect condition, an aftermarket cam is going to offer more performance......
Absolutely no idea!
Just thinking out loud that the car switches on X function and expects to see Y power draw, then when it sees excessive power draw I can see a potential issue.
The website is tuners garage, if anyone wants to dive into this a little deeper.
in terms of checking cam lift , how is that done ? I have heard of using some metal in between the cam lifters,
I have said this before but back in the day I recon Land Rover had Man Mountain lean on the nut to do it up as first time removal has been the worst. The locking tab in pic may be non standard but one should be fitted.
Have a problem with a 2007 110 Defender 2.4 TDCI. The engine keeps on going into limp home. The following are some notes:
1) occurs when engine is cold (even just started) or when hot
2) Fuel is clean of water and filter is new
3) You can drive...
My LR4 2013 seem that have less power at low RPM, now I'm trying to understand if MAF is working correctly and there is no leakeage, I have this doubt because one of the 2 MAF read zero flow at low RPM while the other one read a flow, then...
The shaft splines and the arm hole are tapered so when nut done up it goes tight, real tight. [ if it was you who removed the arm you will know how tight they can be] The security lock tab is standard fit.
There is a master spline and if not...

Take all the financials out of it because what ever you put in you most likely wont get back ever, even if they do appreciate, so do you love it and want to keep it forever? If so, keep it, do what’s required and never get rid of it. Not sure if...
