I need to fit a rear step as I’m using the tow ball to get in and expect I’ll shin myself at some point. I thought I’d buy a S3 rear step but it won’t fit due to the towing plate. I could get the wide step that clamps to the tow hit, or I could...

It gets switched to negative. Modern cars do that, the circuit is live and you connect the negative to complete the circuit. You, on the other hand, sound like you are switching live (+) although it's difficult to tell as your flow of information...

Why don't you draw a picture of exactly what you have wired to where for better help? It's taken 2 pages for you to tell use that you have fitted a fuse and relay.

Hi, those codes seem to come from some generic scantool, anyway if it's 10P engine and automatic box the main problem is with the crank sensor or it's wiring/plug hence the EML warning and CAN fault code and the MAF fault is irrelevant unless you...

Thanks very much for your suggestions! I have no diagnostic, yet - but would at this stage and experience - exclude a worn turbo. The vehicle actually pulls away very nicely, indeed - but not below (exactly) 1500 rpm.

Just seen the other posts regarding this. The suspension and abs work together for dynamics. If you brake hard for example, the suspension puts a bit more air to the front bags to reduce dive etc. What error codes in the whole car do you have...

If its a L322 and you lost battery, it does weird things sometimes until you turn the steering wheel lock to lock to calibrate the steering sensor. I found this out the hard way when I lost everything to do with both ABS and suspension, including...
