Hi
Here's the latest of my increasing number of posts ref my 1986 Ninety - 200Tdi. Oh no, not him again! 😂
So I had a reconditioned LT77 gearbox from Beaumont fitted (by a proper mechanic) in the last 2 months. All forward gears working well...
I'll do that. Might there be a glow plug relay - in which case it will be difficult to identify whether they are on or off. I don't have. a light on the dash....
My landrover disc 3 2008 developed an EHB problem each time I tried to release it it screamed and then jammed. Finally I was towing a trailer stopped in a gateway to farm on 30* incline with 3 tonne in tow and it jammed and would not release so...
Hello, I bought a D90 Carabinieri version 2.0 MPI a few months ago, and I haven't been able to find where to buy parts for that engine since it is uncommon in the D90. Do you have any contacts? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Water, water bl**dy everywhere.
Got back from town and spotted a drip from the front - drain-plug was dripping from the radiator.
Went inside, came back out and noticed a drip from the passenger sill. Opened door and carpet is wet. Water...
I hate them more than you could ever know. It’s been a while since I have had to do anything major but out of the blue, after sitting idle for a couple of weeks, my battery died and would not recharge. Not surprised really as it was at least ten...
do I need to replace gasket when removing the upper manifold?
should I clean or change particular elements , do preventive maintenance under the upper manifold to prevent other failure?
Thanks for the link, that is very helpful. I'll read it when I get a moment. The reason I say it isn't re latching is because the when I try and apply the break the motor winds for about 5 seconds, stops and the red warning light comes up on the...

Don't forget my costs include the equivalent of Pickfords packing a decade of house / and unpacking in the house in the UK 3 months later....
some yes - some no - I sold a Discovery 4 after 10 years and 100k extra km and got more for it than...
I am not an expert with dual mass flywheels but it does sound like it could be related, something is out of balance.
I guess if you can get hold of a code reader you may discover that one of the injectors is not working which would also throw...
yes I did all plugs ... only this plug was corroded and cracked, wondering where come from this crack...
any tips when changing the coils or upgrade the system / other part at the same time?
do you suggest to remove inlet manifold for the job?
No but you just need to disconnect it from the pump, remove it from the clips across the top of the crossmember by the tank, then pull it through from underneath. The other end of it is by the body mount on the chassis.
It's rigid enough to then...
Hello everyone!
I have a Discovery 2 with 350000 kms. For some time now I've been noticing a ‘rattling’ noise under the vehicle when I accelerate or declutch! I thought it might be the brake calipers, which may be loose. It's nothing of the...
Can’t find a video but green goes to the FPR in the engine bay, the pipe connects from fuel pump to the main length of fuel line that runs along the chassis, connector is on top of chassis between fuel filter and body mount if I remember...
As I remember it, he put a plate on a bracket so the coil packs were in the space near the battery box. High enough up to keep them dry and readily accessible; and it could all be demounted if required for other servicing. :)
So, picked her up yesterday, went to a expidition vehicle meet up with the mechanic and some friends and some others. I felt poor for a sec, between people having a private warehouse twice the size of our not small house next to there villa, for...
