Hi to All.
My name is Greg been looking in here for a while and decided to join. Although I'm a newbie here am not new to Landover ownership as had a few Lr's over the years.
Basically brought it as a non runner .. push start/stop button was cut off .. not sure if it was a stolen/recovered before as it didn’t advertise that.
When I tried to start (by just twisting the wires together on start/stop button back on to...

Well it isn't re latching on its own when I pull or press the lever. The noise sounds too consistent to be stripped gears. Maybe that is wishful thinking. The unjam procedure with the Gap tool hasn't worked. (Silence, nothing happens when I run...
I’ve just checked with a colleague - 40’ container UK to Durban or Cape Town is currently $2675 US., quayside to quayside.
Appreciate that’s just the sea ‘movement’.
You're kidding - that's cheaper than 2014 when we came out here - shipping is actually one of the few cheaper things - and that covers all exporting / deregistering/importing / MOT and into UK plates as well, not just the shipping
The 90 I don't...
Recently bought a Fairey Overdrive off of eBay and noticed the linkage comes through the seat box, I however want my linkage to come through the transmission tunnel, any clues as to why the unit is currently configured this way and what I need to...
Which ECU is fitted ?? Unless someone has messed with the wiring, it should not be possible to fit the wrong type.
Also are you using the correct Nanocom menu ?
TRW MPS (TYPE 1)
TRW SPS (TYPE 1)
Finally got around the replacing my leaky steering box this afternoon. the new one has only been sat on the bench since February!
Was a much quicker job than I remember, last time I did it on a running vehicle (rather than dismantled rebuild) it...

1 in the UK (the camper) is the right answer, providing I can insure it and store it, and if I want to sell likely get more in the...
not quite - way cheaper here - not appraciating anything of quality and I specc'd top end now paying :-)
The 90 isn't practical, so likely go - but the 110 is a tricky call...
Today i removed the center console to get to the srs unit. It looks perfect no corrossion on the connector or the pins. Still all original with the date stamp stickers.
So this connection is good.
Is there a way to test or measure the srs unit...
Hi All,
As per the title, the OSR window failed halfway up at the weekend. There were a few weird noises just before failure - no grating, humming more like something I’d imagine if the wire has snapped and the motor is pulling it along. I’ve...
The noise from the epb just meant it needed adjusting/cleaning .
You can view this and how to re latch and if needed rebuild it you look at LRTIME on the tube they have proberly the best how to guide on there.
A new genuin epb module last time I...
Mine is limited by the ECU to 90mph, as standard out of the factory. And it does it no bother. Nobody in their right mind should want to go faster than that in a tratter on public roads, I tend to cruise at 60 with occasional 70mph.
So here is an update to all of this.
I found this fuse to be blown. (Yes, I know. I didn't do that bodge, let's stay on topic and for now assume it was for a benign reason)
Having replaced the fuse I have my fuel gauge back and the vehicle is...
