Sellers market, if you want a maintainable LR which is easy to keep on the road, you have to pay for it.
As to Defender prices, a D2 is a much nicer place to be.
Mine does the same on one specific hump in the road that I would go through at 40mph usually. The answer has been to gently slow down to 30 while approaching the obstacle and then speed up again. Problem solved!
never been known and that's including the Rover 75 M47 engine which is the same as the TD4 sometimes the oil cooler seals can fail and water can then get into the oil but that would show up as a cream on the oil cap way before all the water went...
Does anyone have a layout for an auto gearbox td5 2002
I am putting one back together and would be great to see a diagram but can’t find one k can print out?
My landrover parts book only has the manual diagrsm

Personally I think that in reality they are all overpriced. Expensive to own, run, fuel, tax, insurance and park now with emissions rated parking.
Galv chassis would be getting on for £10k fitted so the sellers would want good money for it...
Just looked at what a galv chassis costs now and it’s around 3k, was 2k last time I looked so probably 6k for a galv chassis one is realistic now not 5k. Also, I think I was right on one last night after reading it again LMAO! I reckon I’m going...
Hi guys, in have some troubles with my RR L320 2009.

looks a good un, specially as it came from Japan. Might have to dig a bit deeper re the chassis, could fit lpg at the same time.
Is your bid in there @kevstar ? 🤣 🤣 🤣
Bought a cheap ornery bbq yessdi as sick of the lack of taste from the gas one.
We also got some grapebush stems etc as fuel. A mate of ours bbqs with them and his stuff tastes delish.
We also have a lot of mature pine cut down two years ago...
Yes would seem I should have donealittle more research I have since found muddymods do an upgrade at £250 for the pair so will keep my fingers crossed I pass the mot then look into upgrading I guess
I would have said the same, but while searching the topic on a number of forums I saw several comments to this effect and evidently they do it from new🤔. My friend's does the same. Very disconcerting because its definitely an "ouch" sound!
When doing motorsports recovery you could have the same problem, some Dhead rallyist would put his vehicle in the bush and then moan about scratched paint etc. Most however were very nice and some even tipped. ;)
I'm curious, has anyone really heard of the TD4 HG failing, and the whole engine being damaged to overheating? Is it likely I have damaged the full engine?
A thread on here from 2018 said it was rare this would happen, but it's 2025 now.
Just one of many examples available.
I would get a good quality ‘oem’, but not a genuine LR.

When I was looking at parts they list at around £400 each and the bushes were £40 the pair so seemed like a no brainer plus the fact you can get them made me think it might not be such a hard job
