didn't know that! Might have to look at what we laughingly call the "grass" over here. As we really. only have weeds. What did you do to get rid of them, please?

If the bolt holes in the brackets for the panhard have worn over size that will also needs sorting or you are wasting your time just renewing bolts an bushes, had to sort the axle one on mine, rusted thin, worn oval.

I’ve been having rough running at idle and smells quite rich, it has power through the range it just misfires at idle and plugs are black wet and oily. Done a vacuum leak smoke test that the only place it leaks is from under the distributor cap...

I have meego, but it was 11 years ago, so even if I could remember what I paid it would be right out of date. I do remember having to buy 'blind' pop rivets. I think that's what they were called. They have sealed heads, so water doesn't leak in...

Don’t think you’ll even be choosing on what engine it is to be honest. I think you’ll be choosing on which needs least welding unless your buying one that’s been restored and then your looking at bigger money (from 15 up to Bentley money!)

You tried bicarbonate of soda. I use it. I’ve got old 58 pattern water bottles, been using em for 35 years. Bit worried about the old plastic having a dodgy Chemical in it.
