didn't know that!
Might have to look at what we laughingly call the "grass" over here. As we really. only have weeds.
What did you do to get rid of them, please?
Morning All :D
Another decent day so far. :)
Shopping later, but will try and dodge that.:)
1/3 more of the wood to shift will do me as a task.
Have a lovely day. :D
If the bolt holes in the brackets for the panhard have worn over size that will also needs sorting or you are wasting your time just renewing bolts an bushes, had to sort the axle one on mine, rusted thin, worn oval.
I’ve been having rough running at idle and smells quite rich, it has power through the range it just misfires at idle and plugs are black wet and oily. Done a vacuum leak smoke test that the only place it leaks is from under the distributor cap...
Yes, so i turned on the switch which lights up and then i got up to speed and pressed the set + and i let go of the accelerator but nothing happened. Was expecting it to maintain that speed or at least feel some kind of trottle response ?
Definitely sounds like the panhard rod bushes. Buy good quality bushes and tighten the bolts with a big, **** off, breaker bar. They have to be extraordinarily tight.
I have meego, but it was 11 years ago, so even if I could remember what I paid it would be right out of date. I do remember having to buy 'blind' pop rivets. I think that's what they were called. They have sealed heads, so water doesn't leak in...
so i retrofitted the cruise control on my 03 disco. all looked fine and i can see on nanocom that the switch works. however the Set + button doesnt seem to be doing anything? what am i misisng? how can i check if the switch is maybe faulty?
Don’t think you’ll even be choosing on what engine it is to be honest. I think you’ll be choosing on which needs least welding unless your buying one that’s been restored and then your looking at bigger money (from 15 up to Bentley money!)
You tried bicarbonate of soda. I use it. I’ve got old 58 pattern water bottles, been using em for 35 years. Bit worried about the old plastic having a dodgy Chemical in it.
I would fit an OEM/JLR part rather than the £5 version.
I have know a few people that have developed a leak after a couple of years (some sooner) whereas originals tend to last for a lot longer...
Engine off stand and on bench now so Think I will fit flywheel and seal first jut to be safe, , been dreading this as Manual does not really say much about it and cant find much on google etc. I do have the seal and gasket, think it is just the...
The manual is here and tells you how to bleed properly, what set up do you have , have you. Got the twin leading 11” drums on front

Clamping all three flexis is the place to start to find where the problem is ...
Vm's are alright the early 492's were/are gutless horrible things the 425 in the 1990-92 cars is better, the 200-300tdi being the pick of the bunch in diesel terms, quite rare though compared to the V8's.
As for fuel economy with the 3.9 i'd...
