Black wire in the light fitting through the wing to the engine compartment, and earthed via a ring terminal and bolt to the radiator panel. I think. I've augmented mine.

My problem started when I blew the fuse F9 on my 2.2 TDCi. When I replaced the fuse the alarm goes off as soon as I replaced the fuse but went off when I removed the fuse again. I also noticed at this point that there were no red dash lights to...

Looks pretty tidy but at the same time giving you enough to tinker with. Fan belt looks out of alignment or maybe it's the angle of the photo. I just used to use unleaded fuel when we had one.

If you can get your ‘spare’ fob working, then someone with SDD can definitely program a ‘blank’ new key bought from Amazon or similar for not-a-lot of money relatively speaking (and I know an Autel dongle has also been used to program a key by a...

What does 4% mean? How is it even running like that ?!? 🤔 Perhaps if you get a chance to run it up to warm with idle and take another reading

Have made a rudimentary bush from a bit of diving stick, it’s hard polyurethane type material and fits very snugly over the ball. Will file it up neatly tomorrow and reassemble! Should do for a while and hopefully stop that bloody awful stick rattle

Wait see what the others say. It can be risky if it’s too slack (%high) incase the chain slips, I’m guessing it’s either too tight (so shouldn’t slip) or there’s something I’m not aware of causing a strange reading? Static timing is bit iffy if...

A good number of us have already fitted the larger battery so what issues would you expect?

I would suggest a trickle charger or solar panel if you leave it for a week.

So the other 3 forums know better yet you're asking us. Obviously not as you have ignored our recommendations. Hopefully you will prove us wrong after it's been fitted for a few months.

1 month down the road and engine is now overhauled and drive as well as expected. Bodywork next and interior. I do have one question, these engines used leaded fuel, obviously they only have unleaded. I have heard various options would...

Honestly I’ve never seen a figure like that. Have you fitted new chains recently? It should be set at 50%, as the chains wear and stretch % goes up. Eventually the engine starts to die and or/the chains let loose. Setting static timing puts it...
