When I took my Kit car club members to Normandy, we had break downs. One chap boiled up so regularly I awarded him the "kettle award" at our Christmas do! Another's clutch cable broke. "No problem", says he, "I have a spare". Well he did, but...

l think you're right. The only Ineos Grenadier classed as "Commercial" with HMRC is the two seat version. l don't think the Puma 110 Utility (5 seat) is classed as a "van" by HMRC l would have to just keep it as a private vehicle and charge the...

Next, I should have spent the time fitting the two alpine windows, but as the rear body upper sides have been sitting here for a while, I thought that I would move on to them instead. If I fit them on the Landy, then they are less likely to get...

After sorting this out, I gathered all the fixings and loosely bolted the tropical roof skin on. The rivet holes lined up well so that was a good sign. I used some aluminium aircraft spec pop rivets to replace the originals. The eagle eyed ones...

I had the roof prepped and painted in the original white before Christmas and hadn’t been able to do anything with it until now. When I stripped the tropical roof skin off, I found some of the spacers that give you the gap between the two roofs...

Hardly 70s, seeing as how they were originally invented in the 1500s odd but came to prominence in the 1700s. We had them when I was a kid in the 50s. But they did do something with Birds instant whip, sprinkles etc. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Sadly this looks like oil and engine fumes contaminating the coolant. Best to get compression test and / or a 'sniffer' test where a chemical held over the header tank can show engine fumes in the coolant. Suspect head gasket is failing.
