My disco has got a obd issue when I plug in my obd reader it states it’s not connected I have used the reader on my disco before no issues checked the fuses all good please help me as I have the 3 amigos on and can’t check to find out what’s is wrong

Also to add, firstly I would fit new glow plugs, they're cheap and probably dead. Paint mark the pump and pop the inlet off then undo the 2 12s and the 13 by the oil filter not all the way, give it a gentle tilt towards the block and you should...

Just done this on mine where it was fine starting with new glow plugs then had a hard start, had a recent fuel pump, pump tilt was all the way advance and reading was at 12 when fitted, it went upto 16/18 and had cutting out issues, not advised...

Aside from the few sensors mentioned, you really need to get the codes/live data - you can throw parts at it if you like, but really you need to diagnose the issue. Get it on a reader and check the fuel pressure on the low side and the high side...
