I would certainly be keen to take you up on that if it wouldn't be too much hassle for you, and try to gain a little more insight from your pools of knowledge too.

I’ve ordered one of those boroscope cameras that connects to my phone. Was looking underneath again today - any idea what this is/was? Looks like it’s melted.

Battery not being able to hold a charge or earth lead to engine corroded. what is the voltage on the battery engine off , has it been load tested a good battery should be 12.8 volts having been left over night less than 12,5 and its considered dead

Low battery voltage can still turn the engine over but not be high enough to power the ECU's. What voltage is on the battery in the morning without the smart charger?

I've just changed battery on my P38 as battery not holding charge was causing all sorts of electrical faults with different systems when running. Biggest powerfullest battery you can get and that will fit in battery tray recommended

No it still fires up and then cuts out again, Simon says it feels like it just doesn't have enough power the run all the systems

When we leave it with the smart charger over night, it doesn't happen and then we you put a jump pack on it, fires up and keeps running. It's a bit odd as it initially fires up and cuts out straight away
