Thank's for the link but mine's a 300tdi. I spent a long time watching videos andb learning how to do this mod which would give me a bit more power, thought carefully about anything I did. I know all the possible fitfalls and what can be done...
I have recently re-trimmed my RHD 1999 90 seats with Exmoor Trim covers and all went well, except for the passenger front seat back keeps falling forward. I have removed the seat & frame, and it would appear that this is caused by the main spring...
I think the logic is if they can stand paint/thinners then fuel should not be an issue.
Lots of trucks also have a plastic mesh widget on the bottom of the standpipe.
Sounds like a drip somewhere as the level should only drop if the pads are getting worn and the pistons are all further out which should take longer than 3000 miles
You’re right, diesels weren’t fitted with them and early petrols were. Seems a bit daft not having one - the last lift pump I changed had a load of crap inside that was causing intermittent fuel supply issues.
The one I have looked at getting is...
That reminds me, need to top up the brake fluid.
Does anyone know how regularly brake fluid should need to be being topped up? I’m about a month and 3k miles in and am needing to top up again. Would that indicate a leak somewhere or is that...

Bolted the bar onto...

I don't think I would want anything spoiling that mating surface from being as tight as possible. Think of the pressure when that gas mixture ignites and how long a bit of sealant might last against those hot gases burning.
The valley gasket or...

Have a lovely day. :D
It’s very sticky and seems mega water resistant, I used it on my old mustang to stick on a news set of door seals. It’s pretty removable too, I had to take the seals off to put in a new windscreen and they cut off through the tiger seal quite...
It doe's sound like there is a lot of "slop" in the system. Can you move arm by hand to full sweep and usual park position?
If so there can be issues with location of arm on its spindle or with the drive cable itself. Also can be problem with...
Yes, I considered that, but that leaves the arc with same sweep. I need to widen the arc so it wipes more of the screen both ways.
I am guessing this is a wiper gearbox issue.
